Darkness – New Cover

I think you might be detecting a theme here with the dragons.

Here is the cover of Book 5, Darkness.

SPOILERS

I’m not sure if you guys remember the details of the book, but it was the black sheep of the series, in my opinion. Most of it took place underground in Bunker 132, and was mainly Alex and the crew dealing with the weird cult.

It was a bit hard to convey that on a cover in a way that matched with the rest, so instead this one shows some dragons in the mountains, since at the end of Darkness, there does happen to be a battle with dragons in the mountains.

Either way, it looks awesome and I’m happy at how it turned out.

Just two covers left before the entire series is complete!

  1. Loving these covers. When I have time I’d like to re-read the Wasteland Chronicles, the new covers are egging me on, but my love of Apocalypse is yelling me to do it.

    1. Do it! I’ve been wanting to binge everything from Apocalypse to Aberration lately, but time is a limiting factor. I definitely want to write more in the WC universe. I have no shortage of ideas, just a shortage of time. If I had all the time in the world, I’d have a prequel series dealing with the meteor coming to Earth itself, a character prequel for Anna, a transition trilogy bridging Wasteland and Xenoworld, and maybe some stuff after Xenoworld itself. But all that will probably never happen since I’m focused on Starsea now.

    2. Wow, you’re full of some great ideas. Sounds like you have the plots ready to be filled out. Maybe when you finish Starsea and as time moves forward, you can write down more thoughts as they come to you. I know you like long books as opposed to short nooks, but prequels are okay if they’re short. But the others, well I like long books too, you get to fill the stories with so many interesting facts, surprises, exhilarating danger and personal growth of the characters.
